What should I expect at the portrait photography photoshoot?
You can expect to have lots of fun at the portrait photoshoot! As a 'people person' first and foremost, it's David's easygoing manner & ability to help his clients relax in front of the camera that brings people back for more pictures time after time.
Traditional, family group shots are catered for of course... but what our clients usually like is the more natural, relaxed and candid kind of photography portraits that David is known for.
Whilst normally working in the portrait photography studio, David can shoot in your own home, or on location if you prefer. Maybe there is a park or place that is special to you. Either way, you can be sure that David will capture images that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
What should I bring to my portrait photography photoshoot?
Many clients bring several changes of clothes, CDs or an MP3 player (it's always nice to have music during the shoot), toys for the little ones, hats, musical instruments, pets... the important thing is to bring items that are special to you. It's your story that we will be telling with the pictures after all!
Pets are members of the family of course so just give David a call if you'd like to include them.
After the portrait photography photoshoot...
David will select the very best images from your shoot and then undergo preliminary work such as exposure checking, blemish removal & colour correction before preparing a slideshow for you to view on a large screen in private in our viewing room.
During your viewing, you will be able to select your favourite photography from the shoot and choose from the extensive range of products available to display them. Remember, David always sends you the photography pricelist before your shoot so you know how much the photography products cost up front. David uses a local framer who hand-makes your frames, canvasses and box frames to order. As well as the usual canvasses etc., photography DVDs and image CDs are also available in a variety of formats. We can even make pop art from your images! If you have something special in mind, just ask!
Clients often ask David if friends and family will be able to view the photography, and the answer is "of course". There is a password-protected client area on this website. About a week after you've had your viewing, David makes a number of your images available in this client area and will give you the required username and password.
